Unfortunately I may now be able to test the quality of Motion Computing customer support. Today the button on my stylus failed, literally caving in. Today I had my first real senior moment. My husband and I had lunch at McD's and about 25 minutes after we left I realized that my purse was left behind with, you guessed it, Lisa still inside. My guardian angel came through and 25 minutes later Lisa & the rest of my purse were safely back in hand. I'm not ashamed to say that I cried with relief. But it really makes me reconsider getting LoJack.

This morning was Lisa's second fall. She was on the edge of the kitchen counter, and in one of those slow motion catastrophes fell to the floor. She did a full flip and landed squarely on her back. So today was my husband's birthday and my brother-in law surprised us both by getting us the IOGear bluetooth print server I had mentioned before. Trial runs show that my internal bluetooth works great! (And incidentally Avalon's adapter works well too.)

Today was Lisa's first unscheduled fling with gravity. During a recitation for my Chemistry class she slipped from the desk to the floor. She landed on my foot and suffered only a minor blemish in the casing of her lower left corner. The tether suffered a more major blow, the metal fastener on the computer side came loose so I tied it on with a good 'ole fashioned knot.

Well the networking deities have smiled on me. Despite the fact that I had no idea what I was doing I managed to create a network on which Lisa can use Avalon's DVD drive. I would post directions, but in the end I'm not 100% what made it work.
